Long Overdue

Heading in to the doctor today for the first time in several years. I know that's a bad thing considering my age and whatnot, but the fact that we currently don't have insurance has been keeping me from going in as well. I'm looking at 152.00 to walk through the door, and I'm most likely looking at some blood work on top of that. Combined with the recent vet bills for the diabetic pup that went missing for two weeks, we're going to be living pretty thin over the next few weeks.

We're talking more and more about the idea of moving to the UK once the kid is out of school. Honestly, if we were there now, I would have already gone to the doctor and it would never have been an issue. I would love to live in a world where people actually took the effort to think of someone other than themselves for a change.
